How do I order a Swapfiets bicycle?
A Swapfiets bicycle can easily be ordered online. Select the city where you want a Swapfiets bicycle and follow the steps. After placing your order, we make an appointment to deliver your bicycle. You can also pick up your bicycle in some cities. Upon receipt, we adjust the bicycle for you personally so that you can use it immediately.
Where can I get a Swapfiets Bicycle?

What is the minimal contract period?
In most cities where Swapfiets is active, we have two options:

1) A monthly cancellable contract with a one month cancellation period. If you choose this option we will charge a €15,- one-off fee when you sign up.

2) A 6 month subscription. When you choose this subscription we will not charge a €15,- one-off fee. After 6 months your subscription can be cancelled monthly.

Be aware, this is only the case for customers that started a subscription with Swapfiets on or after 10-02-2020.

What happens if somebody steals my bicycle?
In case your Swapfiets gets stolen, we will make sure you get a new bicycle quickly. Together we will fill out a theft report for the police. In addition, you pay €40,- deductible if you have an Original subscription and €60,- deductible if you have the Deluxe subscription, provided that your bike was locked properly.
Do I need to have my own bicycle?
No, you do not need to have a bicycle of your own. For a fixed monthly fee we provide you with a sturdy Swapfiets bicycle. Then we ensure that your Swapfiets bicycle always works.
What happens if my bike breaks down?
If there is something wrong with your bike, we come over to you to repair your bicycle or to swap it for a working one. This is done without extra costs for you. By using the Swapfiets App you can easily plan an appointment yourself. The Swapfiets App is available for Apple and Android.
